I have paid. What happens next?
- Once payment has been made please supply your preferred photo references for the portrait by email.
- The photos must be of high quality with good lighting.
- Ideally the subject will have a neutral expression.
- The preferred pose for the portrait would be a side on / profile pose.
- If possible it is always better to supply more than one option. Even better is to create a new photo reference specifically for this
- Once received I review your photos, and let you know if I see any issues. If no issues arise I will let you know which image I think will be the most successful reference to use for the portrait and confirm you are happy with that choice.
- Below is an example of a very good photo reference and an original portrait created using it.
What do you mean by an 'order slot'?
- An order slot means any one order of a single portrait. One customer could order 1 portrait or 10.
- Once 10 orders have been made, no matter the physical size of the portrait, the 10 slots have sold out .
Why only 10 order slots?
- This is for the benefit of the customer. Any more than 10 and wait times could become too long.
- Anyone who has missed out can join the mailing list to be first in line for the next round of Private Commissions.
How long will it take to receive my order?
- On average I estimate 1 month completion time (excluding delivery) after approving the photo. This may be subject to change but you will be kept informed of progress throughout the process.
- Please note if you order multiple portraits, your order will naturally take longer to complete.
Shipping is free?
Yes, shipping is included in the price of the portrait. However please note that any customs fees, etc incurred are not included and are the responsibility of the customer.
What is your refund policy?
The artworks created are completely unique and bespoke to you. Therefore no returns or refunds are possible.
