TESTIMONIALS
"Riding the crest of a new wave in design, Von mixes classic portraiture and good old fashioned artistry with cut-and-paste computer graphics ... a style he has been instrumental in developing"
Nylon Guys Magazine

"Stunning imagery and excellent draughtmanship"
Grafik Magazine

"Deeply pleasing"
Wallpaper Magazine

"No designer represents the rising-tide graphic design strategy of commingling traditional drawing and digital technique more than London's Hellovon"
Ami Kealoha, www.coolhunting.com

"Von is clearly a creative soul whom I am certain will carry a groundbreaking aesthetic flag far into the future. It's fascinating to see such seriousness of intent conveyed through the most excessively elegant expressions of vision."
Zoe Coombes, Commonwealth / Espeis Architype Gallery

"Good old craftmanship developed and transformed into surprising, cool and contemporary compositions."
Kjell Ekhorn, Non-Format

"As global interest in graphic design and illustration continues to rise, standing out from the constant stream of new graduates require talent, determination and a distinctive voice. London based illustrator Von has one of the most instantly recognisable signatures in the field."
Pilot Magazine

"Exquisite, patiently crafted illustrations, both powerfully energetic yet gently quiet, are instantly recognizable: they are made by Von, a London-based illustrator and the founder of HelloVon studio. Influenced by nature and popular culture, Von creates highly detailed and abstract images, which never lose their appeal. An abundance of empty space in Von’s work stresses the importance of its substance, and hits the viewer precisely at the spot where it’s intended. No wonder his work has been demanded by clients like Nike, Esquire, 4AD, Wallpaper, The New York Times, and American Express."
Big Up Magazine

"Very rarely do you see technology being used as a tool to sincerely complement an analogue process, but the work of London’s Hellovon seems to buck the trend effortlessly. Using a combination of bewilderingly detailed pencil drawings and an equally deft touch on the mouse, Von makes compositions that seem to defy what we may have previously deemed possible."
